  Full Itinerary:

• DAY 1: ARRIVAL SAIGON

• Upon arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our Red Lotus Travel team members and brought to your hotel in a private car. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

• DAY 2: SAIGON - MEKONG DELTA - SAIGON (B)

• Mekong river delta is the biggest delta, and also it is biggest rice producing center of Vietnam. Covering an area of more than 40.000 sq km with hundreds of rivers and channels, Mekong river delta is so different from all other places in Vietnam.

  A day tour to this interesting place will bring you deep understanding about local life styles of people who “prefer a boat rather than a car”.

  Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Mytho. On arrival, take private boat along channels to islands.

• On the way, you will view the fishing port, stilt houses, boat-building workshops, the other Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. The cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal to enter Ben Tre province, “the country of coconut”, to see a typical agricultural model call “Garden – Pond – Cage” then enjoy coconut candy mill and the relaxing honey tea. Then the amazing rowing boat trip on the small canal – fully covered by the shadow of the water coconut’s tree and cool breezes is something you cannot miss. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. After lunch, we will walk along the village, visit fruit garden, enjoy the tropical fruit while you are listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the islanders. Here we also can join the daily activities of the local people and enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Your expectations will be fulfilled by final boat trip back to My Tho on the Tan Thach natural canal.

• DAY 3:SAIGON - FLY TO DANANG - HOIAN (B)

• In the morning, you have free time to relax in your hotel. You will have an early lunch, after that our guide & driver will take you to catch your flight to Danang, then drive to Hoian to begin your tour of Hoi An, a former port that welcomed Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab merchants between the 16th to 18th centuries. Today it is renowned for its old quarter lined with restored two-storey Chinese shops, with elaborate carved wooden facades and terracotta tile roofs.

• Hear the interesting story of Hoi An as you visit key sites, the first is Chua Ong Pagoda, a 1653 temple built in honors of the Chinese general Quan Cong, who is worshipped by many as a symbol of loyalty and justice.  Next, pop into Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, to see the Jinshang Temple which is dedicated to the goddess of the sea and the protector of sailors.  From there it’s a short walk to Tam Ky House, a 200 year old ancestral house and finally, stroll across the often photographed 17th century covered bridge built by Japanese craftsmen. The beautifully built bridge doubles as a temple and is a major landmark of Hoi An. Finish your day with a tasty dinner. Stay overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

• DAY 4: HOIAN CYCLING - FISHING - BOAT - COOKING CLASS (B, L)

• In the morning, we take a short bicycle competency test. The tour starts by cycling along level ground to the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village. Ride along country lanes at a peaceful pace viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields using centuries of farming practices. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges, fields of water buffalo…. Take a short break in a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying 1.5 hours ride on Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the Water Coconut Palm Forest. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time to catch fishes and “purple crabs” in the Canal. Continue to ride our bike to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetable are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown the environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries and is still being used extensively today. Visit a local family and take a cooking class before having lunch. Finish your day and transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

• DAY 5: FREE DAY IN HOIAN (B)
• You will have a whole free day in Hoian to relax and go shopping or strolling around calm and tranquil walking streets or you can relax your-self at a beautiful beach nearby Hoian. Overnight in Hoian.
   
• DAY 6: HOIAN - FLY TO SAIGON - MOTOBIKE TOUR BY NIGHT (B, D)
• In the morning, transfer to the airport to catch a short flight back Saigon. Upon arrival at Saigon airport, our driver pick you up and transfer to hotel for check in.
• Free time to relax until until 6pm, we start a motorbike tour by night to explore Saigon. It is time tosee a different side of Saigon on night? The city looks much different at night than it does in the daytime…from the lights of the red paper lanterns in Cholon to the amazing view of the Saigon River at night from Thu Thiem bridge. Experience the rush of driving down the newly built Saigon freeway, and gaze upon the magnificent Bitexco Tower, one of the tallest buildings in Vietnam! See the crowds of people gather at many of the makeshift sidewalk cafes that magically appear at night. We will also show you the wide contrast between the old Saigon and the new modern city that is developing!  Saigon by Night offers a completely different experience than our day tours. We will bring you to 5 of the most popular districts in Saigon that most tourists don’t frequent and also give you a chance to try some delicious Vietnamese street food! You can choose between 3 local dishes, from the extremely popular “Banh Mi” (Vietnamese baguette sandwich), to the lesser known “Com Tam” (grilled pork chops on broken rice), which is our personal favorite!
