CUCPHUONG NATIONAL PARK - TRANGAN - CYCLING IN TAMCOC 2 DAYS

OVERVIEW

Ninhbinh is very famous for many beautiful landcapes. Just about 3 hours driving from Hanoi, you will arrive at this legendary land. This tour will bring you a special feeling of adventure. Trekking 7km in the oldest national park of Vietnam under thick shade of huge trees of Cucphuong national park and enjoying fresh air here is wonderful. Pay a visit to Endanger Primate Rescued Center to learn much about nature life. Lastly, take a bike to wind yourself in a peaceful mountainous countryside of Tamcoc and climb up a high mountain to have a great panorama of Heaven and Earth meeting point...

FULL ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National (L,D)

We will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 7:00 am. Then, drive about 3.5 hours to Ninh Binh and transfer to CucPhuong National Park, the oldest one in Vietnam. Firstly, if it is early enough, pay a visit to the Endanger Primate Rescue Center where many types of langur, monkeys... were taken care before freeing them back to nature, followed by lunch. Early check in your room.

We will do trekking (~ 7km) within the national park this afternoon, that is great chance for you to get close to nature, it is like that you are getting back to thousand years before and getting lost in an ancient jungle, insect and reptile spotting along the way. Back for dinner before our peaceful night at the middle of thich forest. Stay overnight at the very simple park guesthouse.

Day 2: TRANGAN - TAMCOC BIKING (B,L)

Wake up in the early morning to enjoy special feeling inside the national park. Have breakfast and check out then we drive to Trangan ecotourism area, the latest UNESCO’s NATURAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE in Vietnam. We take a wonderful boat trip in 2 hours. The boat will go through many long and dark caves, sometimes, you may feel like that you are getting lost between huge limestone mountains, but don’t worry, our boat rowing lady knows the way. 
Then, we go to Tamcoc where we will start to cycle around this peaceful countryside. Firstly, we will cycle to a high mountain from where we climb up to the top, an amazing panorama will appears, it is great chance to take spacial photos. We will stop to enjoy our lunch at a local restaurant with local specialties of goat meats and many other good food.  After lunch, we continue our biking, you will have chance to meet local people, see villages, and specially, you will have chance to admire the fantastic scenery along the cycling route, we will ride to quiet and peaceful road, not the main one. This is the most beautiful area for biking tour in Vietnam, it will be an easy biking, because it is flat area. Finish your biking and catch our car to drive back Hanoi, we will arrive in the late afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi
